The month of
June has been a great month, except for those people who hate going back to
school,. speaking in behalf ofpeople who love sports. It’s really been a great
month of televised sports.

First up, the
NBA finals, the battle of the two most successful teams in NBA history. Not
only that made the series exciting but these two teams are the number one seeds
in their respective conference. There are stuffs to remember in these series; game
1 comeback victory of the Boston Celtics, game 2 the Lakers almost completing a
comeback 24 down in the fourth quarter. game 4 comeback victory by the Boston
Celtics who was down around 20 in the 3rd quarter. The Lakers
dramatic win in game 5 to extend the series and in game 6 an unbelievable 39
point rout highlighted by a record tying 7 3 pointers by Ray Allen, and dramatic
performances by great players like Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. It was a
great series despite the game 6 blow out, seeing Allen KG and Paul Pierce win
their first ring really was a thing of beauty. It was a great season for

Kobe

too for winning his first regular season MVP.

Next to my list
is the 2008 US OPEN. Tiger Woods playing in the course where he dominated so
much was trailing up to the 3rd round. And Rocco Mediate who was a
20 year veteran was playing the game of his life. There’s a little drama
building in. Tiger Woods was bothered by his knee injury and Rocco Mediate is
on the verge of winning his first major tournament. I really felt that the turn
around in tiger’s game was in the 13th hole of the 3rd
round, where he pulled off a magical putt 65 feet away from the hole. Mediate
showed signs of brilliance too. Up by one stroke in the last hole, Tiger woods
made another sensational putt to force an 18 hole playoff. I Like the drama
that build up.so I even stayed awake until

4 am

to watch the live telecast of the playoff.  And guess what? It all came down to one stroke
and 90 holes was not enough to decide who is the winner. It was kinda
predictable though, charisma gave way to greatness, Tiger woods won his 3rd US
open championship.

The UEFA
championship. I’m not much of a football fan cause I find it boring, but since
I had a lot of time to spare watching television, I tried to look for reasons
why football is the most popular sport in the planet. Well I found one game
that really got me excited and that is the semifinals match between turkey and

germany

.
A high scoring game that ended 3-2 with a last minute goal by Philip Lahm(if im
not mistaken).

Spain

dominated most of its games and took home the trophy.

And just as the
month is closing, a mega boxing match between two champions David Diaz and
Manny Pacquiao. A match that will
establish the winner’s place in boxing history. Manny pacquiao dominated the
fight and earned the top spot as the world’s pound-4-pound fighter. He’s also
the first asian to win 4 titles in 4 divisions. It’s my favorite sports moment
this June, cause it made my country proud and I’m so proud that on June 29, the
day that Manny Pacquiao fought and won, the

Philippines

has 0% crime rate and there’s ceasefire in

Mindanao

.
That made us all winners ^^,

When I say… I am a Christian
I’m not shouting "I’m clean livin"
I’m whispering "I was lost
and now found and forgiven."

When I say…I am a Christian
I don’t speak of this with pride.
I’m confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say…I am a Christian
I’m not always running strong.
I’m professing that I’m weak
and need HIS strength to carry on.

When I say… I am a Christian
I’m not bragging of success.
I’m admitting I have failed
and need God to clean my mess.

When I say…I am a Christian
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say… I am a Christian
I’m not holier than thou,
I’m just a simple sinner
who received God’s grace, somehow

I’ve read this story a long time ago. in Joshua Harris’ book "I Kissed Dating Goodbye". It’s a very powerful story. I decided to put it here and hope that everybody who can read and watch this story will feel God’s forgiveness and grace that people, even those that we love, fails to give. read on, watch and be blessed…

THE ROOM

by Joshua Harris

In that place between wakefulness and dreams, I found
myself in the room. There were no distinguishing features
save for the one wall covered with small index card files.
They were like the ones in libraries that list titles by author
or subject in alphabetical order.
But these files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and
seemingly endlessly in either direction, had very different
headings. As I drew near the wall of files, the first to
catch my attention was one that read "Girls I Have Liked".
I opened it and began flipping through the cards. I
quickly shut it, shocked to realize that I recognized the
names written on each one.

And then without being told, I knew exactly where I was.
This lifeless room with its small files was a crude catalog
system for my life. Here were written the actions of my
every moment, big and small, in a detail my memory
couldn’t match. A sense of wonder and curiosity, coupled
with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening
files and exploring their content. Some brought joy and
sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so
intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if
anyone was watching.

A file named "Friends" was next to one marked "Friends I
Have Betrayed". The titles ranged from the mundane to
the outright weird. "Books I Have Read", "Lies I Have
Told", "Comfort I Have Given", "Jokes I Have Laughed
At". Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: "Things
I’ve Yelled at My Brothers." Others I couldn’t laugh at:
"Things I Have Done in My Anger", "Things I Have
muttered Under My Breath at My Parents". I never
ceased to be surprised by the contents. Often there were
many more cards than I expected. Sometimes fewer than I
hoped.

I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had
lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my 16
years to write each of these thousands or even millions of
cards? But each card confirmed this truth.
Each was written in my own handwriting. Each signed with
my signature. When I pulled out the file marked "Songs I
Have Listened To", I realized the files grew to contain
their contents. The cards were packed tightly,
and yet after two or three yards, I hadn’t found the end of
the file. I shut it, shamed, not so much by the quality of
music, but more by the vast amount of time I knew that file
represented.

When I came to a file marked "Lustful Thoughts", I felt a
chill run through my body. I pulled the file out only an inch,
not willing to test its size, and drew out a card. I
shuddered at its detailed content. I felt sick to think that
such a moment had been recorded.

An almost animal rage broke on me. One thought
dominated my mind: "No one must ever see these cards!
No one must ever see this room! I have to destroy them!"
In an insane frenzy I yanked the file out. Its size didn’t
matter now. I had to empty it and burn the cards. But as I
took it at one end and began pounding it on the floor, I
could not dislodge a single card. I became desperate and
pulled out a card, only to find it as strong as steel when I
tried to tear it.

Defeated and utterly helpless, I returned the file to its slot.
Leaning my forehead against the wall, I let out a long, self-
pitying sigh. And then I saw it. The title bore "People I
Have Shared the Gospel With".

The handle was brighter than those around it, newer,
almost unused. I pulled on its handle and a small box not
more than three inches long fell into my hands. I could
count the cards it contained on one hand.

And then the tears came. I began to weep. Sobs so deep
that the hurt started in my stomach and shook through me.
I fell on my knees and cried. I cried out of shame, from
the overwhelming shame of it all. The rows of file shelves
swirled in my tear-filled eyes. No one must ever, ever
know of this room. I must lock it up and hide the key.

But then as I pushed away the tears, I saw Him. No,
please not Him. Not here. Oh, anyone but Jesus. I
watched helplessly as He began to open the files and read
the cards. I couldn’t bear to watch His response. And in
the moments I could bring myself to look at His face, I
saw a sorrow deeper than my own. He seemed to
intuitively go to the worst boxes. Why did He have to read
every one?

Finally, He turned and looked at me from across the
room. He looked at me with pity in His eyes. But this was
a pity that didn’t anger me. I dropped my head, covered
my face with my hands and began to cry again.

He walked over and put His arm around me. He could
have said so many things. But He didn’t say a word.
He just cried with me.

Then He got up and walked back to the wall of files.
Starting at one end of the room, He took out a file and,
one by one, began to sign His name over mine on each
card. "No!" I shouted rushing to Him. All I could
find to say was "No, no," as I pulled the card from Him.
His name shouldn’t be on these cards. But there it was,
written in red so rich, so dark, so alive. The name of Jesus
covered mine. It was written with His blood. He gently
took the card back. He smiled a sad smile and began
to sign the cards. I don’t think I’ll ever understand how He
did it so quickly, but the next instant it seemed I heard
Him close the last file and walk back to my side. He
placed His hand on my shoulder and said, "It is finished." I
stood up, and He led me out of the room. There was
no lock on its door. There were still cards to be written.

I grew up admiring great basketball players.. I love great dunkers and Fine shooters.. Michael Jordan,Shawn Kemp, Vince CarterPeja Stojakovic and GIlbert Arenas.

For an average FIlipino, the dream of becoming a pro-baller is like firing a slingshot to the moon.

I tried compensating that disappointment through playing NBA live. I’ve been playing dynasty mode and always create a character and name it after me.the one i created is a dead-eye shooter. ITalwys dominate the league in 3 point shooting. That’s the kind of player i want to be,if i can play serious ball.I put a little reality into it whenever i create my player. Cause if i were to play.. I can’t really jump on anybody.. First I am just 5′8"ft. and second I had a surgery on my foot. IT satisfies my NBA fantasy. That’s how It used to be until my friend introduced me to cyberdunk.

It’s a browser RPG game. well at first I don’t show too much interest on it. but as i played on, i got hooked to it.

training.. focusing on your character’s strength.. winning games… along with your friend.

it’s something that i look forward everyday. I want to see how the virtual me performed. in almost 2 months i’ve been trying to beat DOC jun in Scoring… and earlier today… i led our team in both assists and scoring… LOL…

screenshot of the stats sheet today:

Stats Sheet… (First time i beat doc jun in scoring,LOL)

It takes a little of my time each day but as I’ve said it’s something basketball fanatics, like me, will look forward to each day.

Well, if there’s one thing that I want to do this year(and i wish that i could) is to see Gilbert Arenas play at the all stars,in person.

For quite some time, I’ve really been a follower/fan of Gil. I watched every vid in nba.com and in youtube already, been reading his blog again and again and even become a regular "post comment" guy in gilbertology.net.

I don’t know why and when i became a fan. maybe i read too much of his blog.nah!

the truth is, agent zero is the person i want to be. a superstar baller, with a nice family, a good success story and still managed to keep the inner child in him.video game addict. prankster but a good leader.

we’re alike in many ways. how he deals with things.

that’s all in his blog (no wonder it won celebrity blog of the year) and i always have a good time reading those things cause it’s like me who’s writing those stuffs. i agreed almost on everything, talking about other players salary, marc ecko vs.bonds and other stuffs. funny… but if i am in gilbert’s place.. i could also written the same things…

oh so yeah… one of my goals this year(i hope he can visit the philippines one day)… or in my life is to really meet him and hear his stories…. especially the paint ball match against nick young’s crew! LOL

I found this article on the net. and it saddened me a lot. Take time to read this and try to convince yourself that you and I aren’t the ones described in this piece of disgusting material.

The Awful Truth About Filipinos (Score:0) by Anonymous Coward on 01:28 PM July 1st, 2001 JST As we’ve all come to notice, in the past few decades, Filipinos have begun to infest the United States like some sort of disease. Their extensive involvment in the U.S. Armed Forces is proof of the trashy kind of qualities all filipinos tend to exhibit on a regular basis. You can see this clearly by studying the attitudes and cultural Icons of most Filipino Americans. PART 1: Origins of Pinoys/Pinays: Are they really asian? Well we’ve come to accept the fact the filipinos come from a part of the world known as South East Asia. But the term "Asia" is used in the wrong way. You may notice that contemporary filipino americans try very hard to associate themselves with groups that we know asasian. I cannot count the number of times I have seen a ‘Third World’ Filipino try to connect themselves to the Chinese or Japanese people. There is no connection and here’s why. The Philippines is a Third World country. Nothing respectable has EVER been created by filipino people during our entire human history. Young filipino men in america have become obsessed with "import racing". They have an enormously perverted affection for Japanese cars. It’s a common phenomenon. In their minds, these filipinos somehow, believe that they are asian and that it somehow connects them to japanese people and japanese cars. They often take credit for the ingenuity of Japanese people and say how it’s an "asian thing". This term…"asian thing" derived directly from African American slang "black thang". "It’s a black thang." "It’s an asian thang." You can see the connection. It’s even funnier that, in Japan, Filipinos are heavily discriminated against. The only filipinos that can live successfully in Japan are the filipino prostitutes. But that’s the case for most filipino people no matter where they live in the world. Now we’ve come down to this fact…and it is a fact. Nothing in Filipino Culture can be seen as asian. They have no architectural, artistic, or cultural influence which is in ANY way, asian. Thinking of the great countries in Asia such as Japan, Korea, and China there is no way you can possibly connect the Philippine Islands. This assault by filipino americans to connect themselves with the great, peoples of North East Asia is foul and disgusting. PART 2: Young Filipino Americans: The Disease of Society. See for yourself and go to any young filipino’s website or chatroom, and you will be able to see kind of attitude that’s stinking up america! Some things you might see: Dialouge such as the following (taken directly from a chatroom in IRC): (please keep in mind that most people in these chatrooms are young filipinos between the ages of(13-25). AznGuRLie: Wzzup EvErYbOdY!!! RhEiNa IsH In Da HoUsE! (Translation: Her name is Asian Girly. This young woman obviously thinks she is somehow asian, but we’ll adress that later. She’s simply saying that she has arrived in the chatroom but she’s saying it in the most immature, ghetto, and baby-type way possible. I’m suprised she said "Rheina is in the house" rather than just "Rheina in the house".But notice how she spelled the word "is" as "ish". The way a baby would pronounce it. The AlTeRnAtiNG CaPiTaLs is also very common.) AzNRacr_X: SuP Wit U RhEinA GuRL??? (A filipino male…he’s obsessed with japanese cars and masturbates frequently to Japanese Porno Cartoons, known as ‘Hentai’. His response, is based on the fact he listens to way too much Puff Daddy and thinks that he’s some type of "Player". Player is a concept invented by Black Americans. It simply means that a young man has good luck with women. A "Player" often has sex with numerous females and has more than one girlfriend at a time according to the Black defenition. If the, filipinos have a different definition for this term I’m not sure. But I think if you apply this term to a filipino male it usually describes a young man who tries to have sex with girls by meeting them on the internet. He, may or may not be successful in accomplishing this, but it just shows the, LOW LEVEL on which filipinos operate and conduct themselves. What’s most interesting about this conversation so far is that it could be easily mistaken for two African americans speaking to each other. There’s nothing distinctly ‘asian’ in this dialouge and it certianly doesn’t reflect the level of respect and intlelligence you find when Japanese or Chinese people relate to each other in their own language!) AznGuRLie: NuttiN. WhErEsh RoNeLiA???? ShE At Yo HoUsE??? AzNRacr_X: NaW GuRL…ShE At HeR CoUsiN’s HoUsE. PiNOY_PLaYR: She at mah houze suckin’ on mah dick foo! (Another filipino male has just joined the conversation! If you can call it a conversation. At this point it just seems alot like baby talk.) AznGuRLie: Heheheheheheh YoU WiSh!!!! (Notice how this young woman accepts this disgusting statement and even has a laugh about it. I think we’re finding out how low these people really are.) AzNRacr_X: ShUT yo MouTH lil foo!!!! Or I ShuT iT Fo U! PiNOY_PLaYR: Where u at muthafucka?? I beat yo lil punk azz! AzNRacr_X: My CRiB iz 619!! What u GoNNA Do Foo???? PiNOY_PLaYR: I gunna beat yo lil azz…afta yo gurl finishez suckin on, mah NUTZ!! UWAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHhhahahaahahaah! AznGuRLie: Hehheheheh NoW BoyZ WhY U fiGhtin LiKE tHaT?? U kNoW cAn, suCK u boTH!! LiL RhEiNA wAnTz 2 pLaY 2!!!!!!!! ;) (This scum level of human interaction is not only disgusting and offensive, but pathetic as well. And there’s alot more than this going, on in chatrooms all over the internet every hour.) Try visiting a young filipino’s web site too. You’ll see something called the "Asian IRC Ring". It has to do with the chatrooms. The most horrible thing about this is that these TRASHY people are trying to associate themselves with Asia again!! People in Asia don’t act like, this at all. What we are seeing here is the natural filipino in it’s element with full access to technologyand this is how they act! You will consistently see this behavior over and over again. Another interesting thing is that these "thirdworld" people also frequent IRC chatrooms such as #chinese #japan and #asian. They must believe that they are some how related racially or culturally to North Asians. But it’s completely WRONG! There might have been some distant contact with China and even less with Japan during World War II, but these people are actually more closely related to african americans and mexican americans. Do the parents of these young filipinos know what’s going on? Would they accept this? I believe that they would and do. This is the natural "Trash" element in filipinos manifesting itself. Nothing good has ever come from Philippines and I don’t believe anything good ever will. PART 3: The Conclusion: Recogonizing your Roots ( A Message to Filipinos) To all filipino people: Please recognize yoour ROOTS! You come from the the Third World! Your country is a disgusting and filthy place. Most people there live in poverty! Your culture has MUCH MORE SPANISH influence than chinese, and absolutely no JAPANESE influence whatsoever. People in Japan and China, do not act like you. They do not constantly talk about sex and they have a MUCH HIGHER level of RESPECT for each other. There is NO WAY that you can connect yourself to Asia other than location. Your culture and technological advancement does not even come CLOSE to what Chinese, people have done in the past and what Japanese and Korean people are doing now! Everything you do is distinctly filipino. You cannot take credit for Japanese cars, video games, or Hentai! It’s not an "asian thing" it’s, an "american thing". You have no concept of culture..no concept of asian ideas or asian philosophy! Can you demonstrate how you use Confucianism or Taoism in you everyday, life?? You can’t. And you will NEVER be able to.I understand that you are trying to create an identity for yourselves as young people…but it is NOT related to Asia. Your Identity is Filipino. That’s all you are. Just Filipino. Think about what that means….

This made me angry about Filipino wrongdoings! when will we have our own identity?! painful! but awakening isn’t it?

… HURTS!!!

I went out of the bathroom at around 1:30pm earlier today.. and I was going downstairs to the kitchen sink when i slipped off the 4th step of the stairs…Somehow I managed to minimize the impact and because of that I’m quite sure at the moment that it was not that serious(but still it scared the hell out of me).. I laid on my back while shouting the pain out.. i really can’t move… and when i am able to do so I turned face on the floor. i was like that for 5 minutes … My aunt sensed something wrong so she went to the kitchen to check on me… i was able to stand through her aid.i vomitted too but i don’t know why..

I can say i am okay now after taking a painkiller… i am able to walk normally but i can’t lift objects and i can’t bent over. sitting can cause pain too..my left wrists too is damaged… haizz…lesson learned?

drink a lot of milk… it makes your bone strong!!

**do i have to go to the orthopedic?** LOL

When I say "DUH" That means I don’t understand something… The last person whom i said "duh" to, didn’t get/understand that. So instead of explaining SHE replied with a "duh ka rin" ; so yeah, maybe I am right… she didn’t get it!

or did she?
